C+E driving on your own trade licence
The tractor, the freight and all the paperwork are on us. You work for yourself as a carrier, not on a payroll.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for drivers with international experience who want to grow in the profession and are interested in working for themselves.
-
Two years in international haulage
Verifiable experience and positive references from your last job.
-
Driver card printout
You can get the printout from your driver card on the spot at a Czech POINT desk.
-
Clean criminal record
You can get the extract from the criminal register on the spot at a Czech POINT desk.
-
Up-front investment
You need enough funds to cover the deposit, the first month’s rent and the load-securing equipment for the trailers.
What you get
Everything an independent carrier needs, apart from the driving itself.
We find the loads and guarantee they get paid
No freight exchange, no cold calls and no risk of running back empty. Our dispatch desk finds the load and you get it ready to go — all that is left is the driving.
A tractor on rental, not on credit
You rent the tractor and the trailer from us. Insurance, servicing and tyres are already in the rate.
Our licence, your živnost
You do not have to set up a transport licence or a company — those stay with us. You work as an independent carrier.
We take the paperwork
Client contracts, invoicing, cost records and the ČNB conversion — we do all of it. All that is left for you is the driving.
What you earn is up to you
The freight rate is yours, the costs are transparent, and the difference between them is your own income. The more efficiently you drive, the more you earn.
Employment, or working for yourself
Each option has its advantages. We set them out up front, before the call.
On a payroll
- All the profit stays with the employer
- Saved money on a route? The employer keeps the saving
- The employer assigns the routes, the truck and the schedule
- The employer provides the truck and the servicing — and decides when you drive again
- Holidays and days off run to the employer's schedule
With Drivora
- All the profit is yours
- Route costs are yours to control: saving means earning
- You choose the routes, the truck and the schedule
- A replacement truck, maintenance and servicing are on us
- Take a day off, or a holiday, for as long as you like
Common questions
Is this a job vacancy?
No. Drivora doesn't hire drivers into employment — we provide the tractor, the freight and the administration, and you operate on your own Czech trade licence as an independent carrier.
Who finds the loads?
We do. You don't search for work, use a freight exchange, or negotiate rates with customers — dispatch and customer contracts stay with us.
Do I need to set up a company?
You do not need a company. A free trade licence, which is issued in a single visit, is enough, and the transport licence stays with Drivora.
What counts as my own costs?
Out of your own money you cover fuel, tolls and any fines, plus your taxes and your social and health insurance contributions. On top of that, a refundable deposit is placed at the start of the cooperation.
What if I do not have a trade licence yet?
You can open the trade licence after you have seen the vehicle. A notifiable trade for road haulage takes about a week and we go through it with you by phone.
